7.2 Miler
The 2nd annual CHIPS House 7.2 miler is a new race added in 2008 to the 29 year history of road races held on Memorial Day weekend in Hyannis, Massachusetts.
Course Description
The courses are extremely picturesque & historical along Kalmus Beach, historic Hyannis Harbor, Lewis Bay, John F. Kennedy Memorial, near the Kennedy Family Compound in Hyannisport, the Officer Michael Aselton Memorial Park overlooking Hyannis Harbor, and the charming Cape Cod village of Hyannisport.
The courses are paved and mostly flat and gentle with a few rolling areas.
CHIPS House 7.2 Miler is a loop course. The course is not closed to traffic however the traffic should be light. The Course is well monitored by police and seasoned road race volunteers.
Bib Numbers
Each race will be designated with a different colored Bib#
to differentiate the participant in 2010.
White Bib = Half Marathon
Red Bib = 7.2m
Blue Bib = 5Km

Photography
Capstone Photography will cover the race course, capturing photos of runners as they progress through the race. Race photos will be posted within five business days at www.capstonephoto.com for viewing and purchase. Unlike other race photography companies, Capstone Photography puts each image ordered through an exacting post-capture optimization process, so you can be sure that each photo you receive will be the best it can be!

Awards & Finisher Medals
To the top 1 finishers in each age & weight division men & women: 17 & under, 20--29, 30--39, 40-49, 50--59, 60--69, 70 & over, Clydesdale Open & Masters 190-210lbs., Clydesdale Open & Masters 211-225lbs., Clydesdale Open & Masters 226lbs.+, Clydesdale Sr. Masters 190lbs.+ & Filly Open & Masters 140lbs.+
You must weigh in - only if you are competing/participating in a weight division, please look for the USACFRF sponsored weigh-in at registration.
The overall, age & weight divisional winner awards ceremony will be on the Hyannis Village Town Green at 11:00 A.M. We will not be mailing out awards - you must attend the awards ceremony.
The first man & woman will each win a special engraved plaque
The first person in each division will be awarded a 2.5" medal with engraved race logo
"Finisher Medals" to all that complete the The Barnstable Police Officer Michael Aselton 7mm

2-3 aid stations providing water,lemon-lime gatorade & toilets
Courses staffed by emergency vehicles and there are (4) EMT's along the course and (1) at the Finish Line with Emergency Service provided by Hyannis Fire Department & Centerville Fire Department
